Looking for Mickey Quest at the Disneyland Resort

Disney fans! Are you looking for an adventure? There's a new challenge coming to the Disneyland Resort this month, starting July 16, 2015. We're excited to share about "LOOKING FOR MICKEY QUEST" with our readers! Are you up for the challenge?

In the spirit of the Egg-Stravaganza and the Adventureland Trading Company, the Looking for Mickey Quest is a scavenger hunt type of activity where you buy a map and find hidden Mickeys throught both Disney Parks. We always love doing these extra fun activities. They are the cherry on top of an already magical experience at the Disneyland Resort! Plus it gives you a chance to score on some limited edition, collectible Disney swag, which we think is really awesome!

Inside Out Movie Quotes and Activity Pages #InsideOut

“Inside Out” is a story about your emotions and how they feel about the things that happen in your life. Some are calling it Pixar's best film yet. It explains what happens in your mind in a way that kids can understand. There's a lot going on in that brain of yours and you get a chance to peek into the mind of Riley. Inside Out touches on many important topics including: emotions, feelings, youth, growing up, family, friendship, joy, love, anger, hopes, dreams, fear, disgust, sadness, disappointment, regret, attitude, childhood, discovery, choices, memories, feelings, and the inner dialogue that is constantly happening inside your head. It' s a wonderful family film that doesn't have any scary parts or villain, which seems hard to find these days in children's movies.

Who is your favorite character and why?
Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, or Fear.

Movie Synopsis:
The emotions (Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear) live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

Here are some of our favorite quotes from the movie:

This is what the cast of INSIDE OUT explaining what they think goes into making a Pixar animated movie.

Get ready to go on an emotional roller coaster with these
Disney Pixar Inside Out Books
your family will love!
There's nothing that makes me feel more joy than when my young reader has found a book she likes! Reading has not come naturally or even easy for my 7 year old. We've had struggles in Kindergarten and still have to work on building her literacy skills, even now at the end of first grade. So helping her build confidence with books that are age appropriate and at her level is key. Equally important is finding books that excite her by evoking emotions. Bottom line: if it doesn't interest her, she's not going to want to read it. The books she tends to choose are funny. She is always entertained by a book that makes her laugh!
