Inside Out Movie Quotes and Activity Pages #InsideOut

Inside Out” is a story about your emotions and how they feel about the things that happen in your life. Some are calling it Pixar's best film yet. It explains what happens in your mind in a way that kids can understand. There's a lot going on in that brain of yours and you get a chance to peek into the mind of Riley. Inside Out touches on many important topics including: emotions, feelings, youth, growing up, family, friendship, joy, love, anger, hopes, dreams, fear, disgust, sadness, disappointment, regret, attitude, childhood, discovery, choices, memories, feelings, and the inner dialogue that is constantly happening inside your head. It' s a wonderful family film that doesn't have any scary parts or villain, which seems hard to find these days in children's movies.

Who is your favorite character and why?
Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, or Fear.

Movie Synopsis:
The emotions (Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear) live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

Here are some of our favorite quotes from the movie:

This is what the cast of INSIDE OUT explaining what they think goes into making a Pixar animated movie.

Emma Watson as Belle in Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'

It's a Tale As Old As Time but it's never been told like this. There's a new princess coming to Disney. And this time, it's not an animated one. We are so giddy over the latest movie news from the Walt Disney Studios we can hardly contain ourselves.

If you want to know what we're talking about please "Be Our Guest" and read on. The news recently broke in case you haven't heard!

Emma Watson is scheduled to play in the live-action Beauty and the Beast as the one and only Belle. We think she is going to be an amazing fit. She's smart, beautiful, charming and even looks just like her. We have loved her for years as the sassy, witty school girl Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise. We can't wait to see her move into this role of a lifetime as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

From the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Disney Princess, Emma Watson will be flexing her acting muscle as she takes on another role of a lifetime.

Check out how she announced the good new on her Facebook page:

And this adorable tweet she posted to her Twitter account:

Beauty and the Beast will be directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Chicago, & 2 films from the Twilight Series) and produced by Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Production is expected to begin later in 2015, the release date has yet to be announced.

What do you think?
Do you like Emma Watson playing Belle or would you have picked another actress?
If so who and why?

Big Hero 6: Family Movie Night #BigHero6 #MeetBaymax

We don't always go to the movie theater on a school night, but when we do, we prefer to see a Disney Movie!

Tonight we are excited to be attending a special screening of Big Hero 6. We've heard nothing but good things about the latest animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an original action-comedy-adventure about a robotics prodigy and a plus-sized inflatable robot, who develop a special bond on a quest to solve an unsettling mystery.

Other than this adorable Marshmallow looking guy named Baymax and a boy named Hiro, we really didn't know what this movie was about. We couldn't wait to learn about the characters and the story. It's about relationships and love, friendship and becoming a hero. Sounds like the makings of a new Disney classic to us. Yep - we're in!

****************

Here's what Disney Studios has to say about their newest film:
“Hiro Hamada’s older brother Tadashi has created a cutting-edge robot, Baymax, who’s designed to take care of people,” says director Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”). “Baymax’s one programmed desire is ‘How can I help?’ He’s filled with compassion. And Hiro is a teenager who has lost his way— their personalities play off each other in a way that is both funny and heartwarming.”

When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his brilliant fellow nerds: adrenaline junkie GoGo Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.”

“There’s a mysterious masked villain who is up to no good,” says director Chris Williams (“Bolt”). “Hiro takes it upon himself to find out who this guy is and what he’s plotting to do. Hiro intends to stop him—no matter what. “It’s really a hero’s journey,” Williams continues. “The friendship Hiro forms with Baymax opens his eyes to what it really means to be a hero.”

Producer Roy Conli (“Tangled”) says that family—the kind that you’re born with and the kind you find—is at the core of the movie. “It’s a powerful theme that audiences relate to,” says Conli. “The nuances of the relationships in deeply emotional films like ‘Bambi’ or ‘The Lion King’ are so interesting. There’s something about these stories that can really touch people.

Learn the Lyrics: "Carry On" by Olivia Holt for Disneynature BEARS

"Carry On"
by Olivia Holt

(From Disneynature BEARS)

There's always gonna be some canyon in the way.
There's always gonna be a river I cannot cross.
Somewhere along this path that's chosen me
I know I'm gonna fall down, feel lost, feel weak.
But wherever it leads.

No one said this would ever be easy, my love.
But I will be by your side when the impossible rises up.
We will travel this life well-worn,
No matter the cost, no matter how long.
We will leave our footprints behind
And carry on, carry on, carry on, and carry on.

Some will write you off before you ever start.
Some will say the journey's just too hard.
Somewhere between right here and the other side
There will be fear and doubt in the deep dark night.
But we will survive, yeah.

No one said this would ever be easy, my love.
But I will be by your side when the impossible rises up.
We will travel this life well-worn,
No matter the cost, no matter how long.
We will leave our footprint behind
And carry on, carry on, carry on, carry on.

We may fall behind,
Lose miles along this road.
We will be alright,
I will never let you go.

No one said this would ever be easy, my love.
But I will be by your side when the impossible rises up.
We will travel this life well-worn,
No matter the cost, no matter how long.
We will leave our footprints behind
And carry on, and carry on...

It's Not Easy Being Green - Kermit (Video and Lyrics)

In honor of Saint Patrick's Day here is a video and some of the lyrics from the song "It's Not Easy Being Green." This tune was made popular by everyone's favorite frog - Kermit, whose movie Muppets Most Wanted just happens to come out on March 21st. (this Friday) It's sweet and it reminds us of why we love the Muppets, but especially Kermit - because, "green can be cool and friendly-like."

"...But green is the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big, like an ocean
Or important like a mountain.
Or tall like a tree.
When green is all there is to be,
It could make you wonder why.
But why wonder, why wonder.
I'm green, and it'll do fine.
It's beautiful.
And I think it's what I want to be"

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

"Sofia The First: Once Upon a Princess" Premiere Party

Tonight is the BIG night. . .
Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess Movie premieres on Disney Channel!

Once Upon a Time there was an ordinary girl from the land of Enchancia named Sofia. One day her mother marries a King, and her life changes drastically. Her and her mother become instant royalty. It's not easy being a Princess and adjusting to a new regal life. Sofia also gains an instant family including a new Dad, King Rowland, and two step-siblings Amber and James. Now they all live together in a gigantic home which just so happens to be a castle. Sofia starts school at Royal Prep Academy where she learns everything she needs to know about being a Princess. The three headmistresses are familiar fairies named Flora, Fauna and Merryweather. (Sleeping Beauty anyone?)

Sofia's new adventure will prove to be more magical than she could have ever imagined when her new step-father, King Rowland gives her a "welcome to the family" present. It's a beautiful purple necklace called the Amulet of Avalor. It's powers will be revealed to her and to viewers along the way. Sophia The First: Once Upon A Princess is a wonderful new fairy tale that children are going to love. It's bringing the classic feel of Disney Princesses (animal sidekicks and evil sorcerer) back to this generation with plenty of guest characters and reference to the original Disney Princesses. They have even made Sofia the First into a book for Sofia fans to enjoy it over and over again. There will also be a Sofia series coming too, so stay tuned...
