10 Magical Reasons to Attend D23 Expo!
It's finally here! The Disney happening so special, it only happens once every other year! With a name like the Ultimate Disney Fan Event how can you go wrong? We are excited this year to be bringing some newbies with us! Tracey and her girls along with our mom, all of whom have never been! We think this will be the best expo yet! Will we see you there?
1.) Magic
There's a whole lot of Disney Magic under one roof. You won't believe how much pixie dust is in store for all who attend this one-of-a-kind Expo.
2.) Music
We have two words for you - Richard Sherman. We have two more - Alan Menken.
Disney Music LEGENDS People!!!
Radio Disney Road Crew will also be on hand to keep the crowd pumped with music and introduce some Rockin' stars!
3.) Celebrities
Seriously we've never seen so many celebrities in so little time. Some of this year's celebs include Wayne Brady, Ross Lynch, Tim Gunn, Bridget Mendler, Joey Fatone, Tom Bergeron, Raini Rodriguez, Paige O'Hara, the cast of Teen Beach Movie just to name a few.
4.) Memories
The memories we made two years ago are still some of our very favorite Disney memories of all time. Disney is always better when you share it with someone, especially your sisters.
5.) Costume Contest

couture genius Edna Mode, is the first competition of its kind to showcase
fans’ creativity through costumes inspired by all things Disney, including
Motion Pictures, Parks & Resorts;
Consumer Products, Media Networks,
and Interactive.
6.) Shows
Hooray for Broadway! Take a musical journey into Disney's history on Broadway and beyond. This one night only performance features an all-star lineup of artist who sing everyone's favorite Disney musicals. Some of the musicals include The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, The Lion King and more!
7.) Legends
This year's Legends Ceremony is going to be well, legendary with honorees including Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Ed Wynn, Steve Jobs, Glen Keane, Dick Clark and many more. The Disney Legends Awards program is a 26-year tradition of The Walt Disney Company. CEO Bob Iger said that "The Disney Legend Award is reserved for the extraordinary visionaries and artists behind the Disney magic."
8.) Archives
As in, Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives where you can see many sights that few ever have. A wide array of iconic displays to behold, a real treat for the true Disney fan! This year includes archives from Mary Poppins', Disney's Adventures in the Land of Oz, Once Upon A Time, Teen Beach Movie. Fan Art Contest entries celebrating Mary Poppins' 50th Anniversary! Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives presents a selection of memorable props and costumes from many timeless Disney productions.
9.) Experience
Just picture thousands of Disney Fanatics under one roof celebrating the pure joy of the Mouse! It's really something special to experience, in a way that only Disney can produce. This expo truly is the Ultimate Disney Fan Event!
10.) Shopping
From the Silent Auction to the Dream Store. D23 Expo has so many unique shopping experiences to behold. There's a special Disney Store with plenty of D23 Expo merchandise set-up and also many Disney Consumer Products Pop-Up Shops throughout the convention floor. You can be sure to get your fill of gadgets and gizmos galore. We'll save a spot for you in line!
