Disney Baby Store Opening Creates Magical Moments For Military Families

Welcome Disney Baby!

Disney Sisters attended the "birth" of the first ever Disney Baby Store at Americana at Brand
in Glendale, CA and it was so much more than the grand opening of a retail store, it was a
most magical celebration.

Last week Disney welcomed the arrival of the very first Disney Baby Store and online boutique by hosting a baby shower for more than 20 expectant and new military moms. Disney teamed with Operation Shower, a non-profit organization that supports military families by hosting baby showers to ease the stress of deployment.
The Disney Baby Magical Moments festival honored the military moms-to-be with brunch while Blue Sky Riders (comprised of members Kenny Loggins, Georgia Middleman and Gary Burr) performed songs from their upcoming self-titled album. The touching experience was made even sweeter when the band sang Kenny Loggins' classic song "House at Pooh Corner". Let's just say, we weren't the only ones who needed tissue, happy tears all around. Watching Disney create memorable experiences for a few of the many families that sacrifice so much for our country was truly magical!

Our favorite Disney Channel Moms on and off-screen were on hand to share in the Disney Baby celebration. Good Luck Charlie's Leigh-Allyn Baker rocked the pregnancy glow, she is due in a month and might very well be the cutest pregnant woman ev-er! We finally got to meet Angel Parker's precious little princess Naomi and son James. Remember when she was pregnant with Naomi during our interview on the set of Lab Rats? We also had the pleasure of meeting Angel's prince charming of a husband, Eric Nenninger. *LOVE THEM*

Bob Chapek, president of Disney Consumer Products was joined by the adorable Alison Sweeney and her 2 kids along side Winne the Pooh and his 100 acre woods pals to officially open the store.
Disney Store has always been one of our favorite places to shop for clothes and toys, now moms everywhere are rejoicing at the unveiling of the newest addition to the Disney Family. Disney invited the military moms to shop in the new Disney Baby Store with a gift card to purchase all their favorite things.

Cuddly Baby Bedding, Cozy Pajamas, Bath time Fun, Adorable Bouncers and Strollers,
and the cutest onesies with all of your favorite Disney characters. They even have Halloween Costumes for the smallest member of every family.

This will be the go-to place for So Cal locals to get the perfect gift for baby showers and birthday parties. Disney baby carries up to 3T. We sure are glad that this store is in our own backyard. But if you don't live near by don't worry, you too can get all the Disney Baby your heart desires delivered to your doorstep. Shop and place your order from the delicious Disney Baby Online Boutique at DisneyStore.com/DisneyBaby Disney Shops.

WARNING: Shopping at Disney Baby may give you a bad case of Baby Fever! Or it may make you buy a bunch of baby things, even if your children are no longer babies. . . uh yeah. . . don't say we didn't warn you!

Disclosure: We were invited to a Media Preview Opening of Disney Baby and given a dreamy swag bag. Thank you to Disney for throwing such a great baby shower! We had a blast!

Peter Pan Returns to Jake and the Never Land Pirates

Beware Captain Hook! The boy who never grew up is coming home! Peter Pan Returns to Neverland, and will be making his debut on, Jake and the Never Land Pirates on Disney Channel February 13.

Disney Sisters attended a star-studded premiere at the Walt Disney Studios Lot last week. They were showing the screening in the famous "Pinocchio Theatre" aka the Walt Disney Studios Main Theatre. Can we just say what a special feeling that comes over you when you walk around the lot? It's amazing to feel all of the history, and to know all of the magic that has been made there over the years. No matter how many times we are lucky enough to visit, it's still just as special as the first time.

Also attending the event was the cast of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It was fun being able to put a face to the voice of Jake (Colin Ford), Cubby (Jonathan Morgan Heit), Izzy (Madison Pettis), and now Peter Pan (Adam Wylie). We chatted with Madison Pettis (Izzy) before the show, who is such a sweet young lady. We got to chat with our old mate Loren Hoskins aka Sharky of the Pirate Rockers "Sharky and Bones" who provides all of the music for the show. The one person who we really missed was our buddy, David Arquette, voice of Skully the parrot.

Other familiar Disney faces came out to watch the screening too. Some of the stars from the Disney Channel show Jessie were there. As was one of our favorites Leigh-Allyn Baker from Good Luck Charlie with her family. All of the younger kids weren't as impressed as we were by all of the actors, they were most excited to meet Jake himself.

"Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns" is the series' first-ever primetime special and also marks Peter Pan's debut in the series. We won't mention any spoilers on this post, but we will say that your children will love this special. Great music, even more adventure and the rebirth of a life-long rivalry between Peter Pan and Captain Hook! So grab your sword and your best mates, the special will air Monday, February 13 on Disney Channel. Here you can see some of our best mates, Jasmine aka So You Think You Can Mom's pirates stopped to take a photo with Kaia. To read her coverage of the event click here.

Season 2 with all new episodes will debut Monday, February 20 on Disney Junior featuring the voice talents of Sharon Osbourne, Jane Kaczmarek, Josh Duhamel, and Tiffani Thiessen.

Full Disclosure: This is not a paid post. We attended a screening put on by Disney Channel.

"Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas" Disney Channel Holiday Special

We had the chance to meet up and interview the stars of "Good Luck Charlie" the hit series on
Disney Channel at a recent press junket in Los Angeles. What was it like talking with one of the funniest families on Television? It was exactly what you'd expect. They were really fun, had hilarious stories to tell & couldn't say enough about how much they loved each other and what a privilege it is to be apart of the Duncan clan. So sweet!

This Friday is the world premiere of their new holiday special, "Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas." It's kind of a mix between the 2 movies "Home Alone" and "Planes, Trains & Automobiles." All about the crazy adventures that transpire when the Duncan family, tries to go away together for Christmas in Palm Springs to Amy's parents house. Needless to say, things don't always go according to plan.
Be sure to tune in Friday, December 2 at 8/7c on Disney Channel.
