Finding Nemo is Coming Back in 3D

"Finding Nemo" 3D is swimming it's way to theaters this fall. "Finding Nemo" back? Well in our house, it never really left. This movie is a favorite in all of our houses. We use frequent references like "just keep swimming, just keep swimming" or speaking whale to each other at the breakfast table.
Then there's always:  P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney

You can see more of Nemo and his Lucky Fin in the
Disney Pixar Finding Nemo 3D Trailer below:

FINDING NEMO returns to theaters for the first time in 3D

"Fish are Friends, NOT Food" - BRUCE the SHARK

Who's your favorite character in "Finding Nemo"?
For us it's Dory, voiced by the hilarious Ellen DeGeneres.

DISNEYLAND

We were so excited when Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, located in Tomorrowland
opened at Disneyland in June 2007

 All Aboard!

As you gaze through your porthole you'll see scenes inspired by the 2003 movie
Disney Pixar's "Finding Nemo"

Did you know the attraction differs depending on which side of the submarine you sit?

  DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

On some warm Southern California days you can catch Marlin, Nemo, Dory, Crush and the whole "Finding Nemo" gang swimming through the streets of Disney California Adventure Park during the Pixar Play Parade, which showcases everyone's favorite characters from Pixar.

Disneyland Celebrates Lunar New Year

Happy Lunar New Year!

Yesterday marked the Lunar New Year also known as the Chinese New Year. Since Disneyland embraces different cultures and holidays around the world, it's no surprise that they hold a special festival to commemorate it. Guests of the park are invited to celebrate the time-honored traditions of the Lunar New Year with many fun-filled activities, festive scenic displays, unique food choices, (strawberry churro anyone) and beautifully adorned lanterns. There are also music and live performances daily with special appearances by Mulan and Mushu. If you'd like to see Mulan's Processional please visit our friend Mr. Daps website Daps Magic. He's got amazing coverage of the Lunar New Year and of Disneyland in general!

Last year was the Year of the Rabbit.
2012 is the year of the Dragon.
(Mushu is very pleased about this)

Just a little bit of trivia... Jessica is a Snake, Becky is an Ox, and Tracey is a Sheep.
Now tell us, what year are you?

Pixie Dusted Smiles at Pixie Hollow

Our smiles were Pixie Dusted when we stopped by Pixie Hollow at Disneyland recently and had a visit with Rosetta and Tinkerbell. The Disney Fairies are such an important part of the Disney Family, they shower us with Pixie Dust and help keep our childlike beliefs alive.
We do believe in Fairies! We do believe in Fairies!

Disney is all about creating magic, and when you visit the fairies at Disneyland's Pixie Hollow you can have a magical moment. Especially with the new made for TV movie Pixie Hollow Games part of the fun is you never know which of the fairies will be there. It's all part of the fun, when you come around the corner after waiting in line... the Fairy reveal! Just look at these 2 little girls who were in line behind us. They were in awe of Rosetta! And this little girl dressed as Snow White was fascinated with Tinkerbell. (who isn't) Look at these special smiles with the characters! We couldn't help but capture them all with our camera. It was definitely a very magical day for them. (and us too!) Don't forget if you can't get to the Disneyland Resort can also visit your favorite fairies online to at Pixie Hollow World

We are all smiles today because we are co-hosting the Disney Blog Hop with our friend Lisa Robertson of Babes In Disneyland. (Buy her BOOK) Today's special theme is SPECIAL SMILES WITH THE CHARACTERS! Although you don't have to write about the theme, it's such a fun one we totally suggest it! So if you're a Disney Blogger link up here with us and make some new friends! Share the Magic by leaving comments, becoming a blog follower, liking on Facebook and following on Twitter of everyone on the list. (not necessary, but it sure is a nice thing to do)
Fly With You Later!

*Thank you to Lisa for asking us to be apart of the magic that is Babes in Disneyland Disney Blog Hop! Disney Friends are the BEST!*

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Now Open at Disneyland

The Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe's Grand Opening at Disneyland was just a few days ago. We were so excited to spend some time in this delightful new place last week. It's everything that you would expect from Disney and Mary Poppins herself, "practically perfect in every way." The food looks delicious, with a nice variety of sweet and savory choices. The decor is adorable from penguin stained glass windows to framed silhouettes of Mary Poppins, Jane and Michael Banks. The seating is plentiful and it was an excellent way to spend a golden afternoon. There is only one word that truly describes it. . .  Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

For a more in depth look at everything Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe has to offer please visit our friend Heather Sievers aka Ms. Dining In Disneyland over at the Disney Food Blog. Spit Spot!

John Lasseter's Birthday Wish from Disneyland

We were at the "Happiest Place On Earth" today and wanted to do something special for John Lasseter from Pixar Animation Studios. It's his birthday and since his contribution to Disney has meant so much to all of us, why not make a little Birthday Greeting with one of our friends from the Disneyland Resort. If you haven't met Pat E. Cake yet let us introduce you. He works at the Plaza Inn where he whisks up magical parties daily for park guests. If you are planning on celebrating your special day at Disneyland, make it your Happiest Birthday ever!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A Disney Family Favorite

We hope you all had a magical holiday season.  Did you get all of the Disney things on your list this year?  One of our favorites was Kinect Disneyland Adventures for Xbox 360. It's a great way to go to Disneyland without actually having to go the Disneyland Resort. And it's a great way to spend a family game night!

Also check us out learning about the game at the D23 Expo.

Disclosure: This is not a paid post. We were given a copy of the game for reviewing purposes.
