On April 30, 2014 we attended the LIVE Press Event at the Arclight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, CA. Here is our coverage of the FULL Press Conference. Truth be told, one of us (clearing throat-Becky) was more than skeptical of a game of called Disneyland Adventures, to take place inside Disneyland! Ummm hello, that's a pretty tall order and has never even been attempted. I mean, to get it right you would have to love Disneyland so much that you would do everything you can to get it as close to the actual thing as possible. Well let me tell you, they do and they did! After only a few minutes of playing the game we were sold (both of us). The attention to detail is spot on!

The attention paid to detail I think, dare I say it? It would make Walt proud! Before creating this game Shane White, Head Producer on "Kinect: Disneyland Adventures" and his team met with imagineers to determine what the most important aspects of Disneyland are and spent countless hours researching Disneyland Park to create the best virtual  Disneyland experience possible. Things like character meet and greets, getting autographs from your favorite characters and taking pictures. Actually, if you listen to the first video of us playing the game you can hear Rob, lead game designer say: Our Sr. Producer is a huge Disneyland fan, he says
 "This game has to be a love letter to Walt."

While playing the game you can choose to visit the Swiss Alps and even encounter the Abominable Snowman on the Matterhorn Bobsleds; join a skipper on a wild adventure to see zebras, hippos and gorillas on the Jungle Cruise as well as navigate the waters of the bayou in new chapters of Pirates of the Caribbean, and no trip to Disneyland would be complete without going to see and hear macaws, toucans, orchids and totem poles singing in the Enchanted Tiki Room (Becky's favorite). Fans will also enjoy hearing the songs from attractions including "The Tiki Tiki Tiki  Room" and "Yo Ho (A Pirates's Life For Me)."

We met while playing the game together, fun times.

LADIES AND GENTLE CARS,

Last week we actually got to Meet Lightning McQueen in person.

(I know, I know, I was freaking out too!)

Hang with Cheech Marin (voice of RAMONE) & Jennifer Lewis (voice of FLO)

All while eating Bob's Big Boy Burgers! And their World Famous Fudge Cakes!

Check Out the 50s Diner that they set up outside, in the Car hop area.

We walked down the Red CARpet with a bunch of celebrities including Joey Lawrence. (my childhood crush)

Tori Spelling was there too. Her family is very cute!

Bob's Big Boy in Burbank had a make-over! Check out what they did to the place!

We were greeted by Lightning McQueen himself - KA-CHOW!

Along with his friends Mater & Sally.

There were stations for the kids to play with all things CARS. Which was a real treat. My daughter is obsessed with all pixar movies. I mean a FANATIC. Like she knows all of the lines from these movies, so coming to an event like this was beyond a dream come true for her.

And anything Disney does, they do it better than anyone can.
