Disney Sisters: Egg Hunt at Disneyland, California Adventure, and Epcot

Egg Hunt at Disneyland, California Adventure, and Epcot

It's Springtime at the Disneyland Resort and it couldn't be more beautiful with all of the flowers blooming and the gorgeous So Cal weather. Spring Break is here for our kids and we always have to visit the Happiest Place on Earth to make our Easter Vacation complete! During our childhood, we remember going on Easter Egg Hunts at Disneyland (do you) so we are happy to see them bringing back a variation to Disney Parks the past few years that is part hide, part seek, part prize, and all magic.

The Disney Egg-stravaganza has returned to Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park and Epcot! From March 27 – April 5, 2015, you’ll be able to search for special hidden eggs at three of your favorite Disney theme parks. (Two at DLR and one at WDW.)

Have fun on your magical egg hunt throughout the Disney Park of your choice. Each egg is themed to a different Disney character and hidden really well. Look up, down, and all around to find them, they are a little bigger than the size of a football. Once you find each egg, place the corresponding sticker on the map to represent each location. There are 3 different map choices (one for each park) and several different plastic egg prizes that you can win at the end. Only one prize per purchase. (You may play/pay multiple times and get multiple egg prizes.)

The good news, you can receive your egg surprise whether you choose to hunt for the eggs or not. So don't even worry if you can't find all of the hidden eggs, we didn't! Or if you don't have time to look at all, that's okay too.

Finally return your map to one of these locations depending on which park you are egg-hunting at - Disney Showcase in Disneyland park, at Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure park; and at the Port of Entry in Epcot. The surprise, similar to the objects of the hunt, is received after taking part in what Disney calls an “egg-scramble.” Our kids loved trying to guess which egg was under which! It's all part of the magic and we had a great time doing it on our last visit.

You can purchase the Maps including stickers for $4.95 (plus tax.) There are no discounts and they will only be sold until they run out. Redemption valid through April 30, 2015 or until supplies last.

Here's where you can buy the maps inside each park:

Disneyland:
Disney Showcase, Disneyana, Fairy Tale Treasures, Stromboli's, Little Green Men Store Command, Pioneer Mercantile, and Pieces of Eight.

Disney California Adventure:
Oswald's, Elias & Co., Disney Jr. Kiosk, Treasures in Paradise, and Radiator Springs Curios.

Epcot (WDW):
Heritage Manor Gifts (American Adventure Pavilion), Pin Central, Plaza Towers (Port of Entry) and World Traveler (International Gateway).

Here's a list of what areas to look for the 12 hidden eggs at Disneyland:

1. Emporium (Outside)

2. Emporium (Inside)

3. Haunted Mansion

4. New Orlean's Square Fountain

5. Frontierland (Entrance)

6. Adventureland (Bizarre)

7. Fantasy Faire

8. Stromboli's Wagon

9. Dumbo the Flying Elephant

10. Pixie Hollow

11. Snow White Grotto

12. Astro Orbitors

The only one we've done so far is at Disneyland Park. It's harder than you think. Confession: we haven't even find all of the eggs so far. Especially the one at the Astro Orbitors location. OMG you guys, we have NO CLUE where that thing is hiding! Did you find it? Hopefully we will find the rest on our next few trips to Disneyland Resort, and also do the hunt at Disney California Adventure too!

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
